Dr. Rau serves as the Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President at Ascendis Pharma A/S since December 2007 and leads the R&D activities at Ascendis Pharma??s German subsidiary. He has headed R&D of it since its inception. Prior to complex, he joined Graffinity Pharmaceuticals AG in 1998 and was responsible for leading its chemistry efforts from 1998 to 2002. Dr. Rau holds a PhD from the University of Freiburg.
