Michael Wolff Jensen L.L.M. — Chairman, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Member of Executive Board at Ascendis Pharma A/S

Mr. Michael Wolff Jensen, L.L.M. has been General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Ascendis Pharma A/S since June 2013 and serves as its Member of Executive Board. Mr. Jensen serves as the Owner and Chairman of the Board of MWJ Partners ApS. Mr. Jensen serves as President for the Only Water Division at EMF EnviroTec A/S. Mr. Jensen served as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Ascendis Pharma A/S from May 2008 to June 2013. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Veloxis Pharmaceuticals A/S from 2003 to March 2008. Mr. Jensen served as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel of Genmab AS until August 1, 2003. Mr. Jensen joined Genmab AS in 2000. He has considerable experience in mergers, acquisitions, private placements and initial public offerings. Previously, he worked as a Lawyer at Hjejle, Gersted & Mogensen and at Kromann Reumert. He has been the Chairman of Ascendis Pharma A/S since January 2008 and serves as its Director. He has been the Chairman of Xspray Pharma AB (publ) since 2013 and serves as its Director. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Eurocine Vaccines AB and VANX ApS. Mr. Jensen serves as the Chairman of the board of ParadIs A/S and is a Board Member of IPC International A/S (specialty pharmaceutical company). He served as a Member of the legal faculty at the University of Copenhagen. Mr. Jensen holds an L.L.M. degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1997.
