Peter Rasmussen — Principal Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at Ascendis Pharma A/S

Mr. Peter Rasmussen has been Principal Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at Ascendis Pharma A/S since March 2014 and served as its Principal Financial Officer since February 2016 until August 2016 and Member of Executive Board. Mr. Rasmussen served as the Chief Financial Officer of AdvanDx, Inc from June 2008 to August 2012. Mr. Rasmussen joined AdvanDx in June 2008 and has significant experience within financial reporting from positions in listed companies and his educational background as state authorized public accountant. Mr. Rasmussen worked as a financial consultant for Ascendis Pharma from October 2013 to March 2014. From 2007 to 2008, prior to AdvanDx, Mr. Rasmussen served as Head of Finance at Veloxis Pharmaceuticals A/S. Prior to joining AdvanDx, he has worked with LifeCycle Pharma A/S and Genmab A/S. He has gained experience with offering circulars and the process for raising funds in public markets and with financial reporting under IFRS as well as US GAAP. Mr. Rasmussen worked 11 years with Ernst & Young as an auditor with a dedicated focus on international companies. He is a state authorized public accountant in Denmark and holds a M.Sc. in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School.
