Mr. James Michael Michener, also known as Jim, Esq. has been Senior Advisor to CEO at Assured Guaranty Ltd. since January 1, 2018 and served as General Counsel and Secretary of Assured Guaranty Ltd. from February 1, 2004 to December 31, 2017. Prior to joining Assured Guaranty Re Ltd., he was General Counsel and Secretary of Travelers Property Casualty Corp. from January 2002 to February 2004. He served as General Counsel and Secretary of Assured Guaranty Municipal Corp. until December 2017. From April 2001 to January 2002, Mr. Michener served as General Counsel of Citigroup's Emerging Markets business. Prior to joining Citigroup's Emerging Markets business, Mr. Michener was General Counsel of Travelers Insurance from April 2000 to April 2001 and General Counsel of Travelers Property Casualty Corp. from May 1996 to April 2000.
