Mr. Christopher Sternberg, also known as Chris, has been Chief Operating Officer of AutoGrid Systems, Inc. since September 6, 2017. Mr. Sternberg served as Managing Director of Oil at Genscape, Inc. until December 26, 2016 where he led a team of analysts, engineers, scientists and developers providing applications and market data fundamentals to companies in the physical hydrocarbon supply chain. Mr. Sternberg served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Oilspace, Inc. Mr. Sternberg joined OILspace, Inc. from the American Petroleum Exchange, where he served as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Sternberg served as Global Director of Platts Oil Group. In his role there, he was the Commercial Manager of Platts portfolio of real-time news and pricing, market data and end of day market publications. He was responsible for the development of new products, new clients and new business models by evolving product strategy and executing change management across of team of 180 people in 16 offices worldwide. He served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Product Management at Aspect Enterprise Solutions. He spent time at United Communications Group (UCG), a B2B specialty information publisher, in their Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) business unit as Vice President of Marketing & Product Development. He was a successful entrepreneur with Oil Price Information Service and as Group Sales Manager with Commerce Business Daily Online. During the last decade, he has built several sales and marketing teams and was responsible for double-digit growth by refocusing current products and launching new ones. As Publisher of the Stalsby/OPIS Directories, he expanded electronic sales, grew advertising and increased subscriptions. In 1999, he introduced the industry's first web-based pricing ticker for oil cash markets. Mr. Sternberg has more than 20 years of experience managing product development, sales, marketing, operations and business strategy for energy software and market intelligence companies. He has over 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience, 10 if them in energy publishing and software environments. Mr. Sternberg has BSBA in Marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan.
