Jeff Bawol — Vice President and President of Avnet Technology Solutions - Americas at AVNET INC

Mr. Jeff Bawol serves as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Tech Data Corporation. Mr. Bawol has been the President of Americas at Avnet Technology Solutions, Inc., an operating group of Avnet Inc. since May 2008. Mr. Bawol serves as a Vice President of Avnet, Inc. He began his career at Avnet in 1977 as a Customer Service Representative at Hamilton Avnet Electronics. He has almost 30 years experience at Avnet, 10 years at Avnet Technology Solutions and 19 years at Avnet Electronics Marketing. He heads the newly formed Enterprise Software & Storage Business Unit. He served as a General Manager of Enterprise Software & Storage Solutions of Americas and Senior Vice President of Americas at Avnet Technology Solutions and Avnet Partner Solutions. He has successfully launched other new business units for Avnet Hall-Mark, including Vice President and General Manager for the Intel Architecture group. He served as Vice President and General Manager of the Avnet Hall-Mark (renamed Avnet Partner Solutions) Intel Architecture/Compaq Business Unit, a position he assumed in 2000. He served as Vice President of the South Central area for the combined Hamilton Hall-Mark business. In 1996, he joined the Tandy Corp. as Vice President Of Sales and ran their Commercial Sales Group. He has solid executive experience as well as an extensive sales background. He has held positions at Avnet and its divisions as the Vice President of Sales, Area Vice President, Regional Vice President and General Manager. In his tenure at Avnet, he also served as the Vice President of Sales for Tandy Corporation. He has been recognized by industry publication CRN as a Channel Chief in 2013, 2012 and 2010 for helping suppliers and partners achieve profitable growth by strategically providing technology solutions aligned to high-growth vertical markets. Mr. Bawol also received Avnet's prestigious Chairman's Award in 2003.
