Philip R. Gallagher — Member of Executive Board & President of Electronic Components at AVNET INC

Mr. Philip R. Gallagher, also known as Phil, has been a Member of Executive Board at Avnet, Inc., since August 28, 2017 and President of Electronic Components since August 28, 2017. Mr. Gallagher served as Global President of Avnet's Core Distribution Business at Avnet, Inc. since April 2017 until August 28, 2017. He served as the President of Sales & Marketing for Americas at TTI, Inc. since April 4, 2016 until April 2017, served as its Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer. He joined TTI, Inc. from Avnet, where he spent 32 years. He served as the President of Avnet Technology Solutions GmbH. Mr. Gallagher served as Senior Vice President of Avnet, Inc. since November 2007 and served as its Member of Executive Board. He served as the President of Avnet Technology Solutions, Inc., from March 2, 2009 to January 2015. Mr. Gallagher was responsible for the Avnet's strategic direction, day-to-day operations and global performance. He served as the President of Americas at Avnet Electronics Marketing, Inc., from July 2004 to March 2009. He served as Vice President of Global Business Development at Avnet for three years. He was responsible for leading Avnet Electronics Marketing in the Americas. Mr. Gallagher served as Corporate Senior Vice President of Avnet, Inc., from January 2008 to February 2009 and its Vice President until January 2008. He served as an Account Manager of Avnet, Inc., and also served as its Sales Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Area Director and Vice President of sales and operations of the Americas. He served as a Corporate Officer of Avnet, Inc., since November 1997. Mr. Gallagher served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at Avnet Electronics Marketing, was responsible for the group's global supplier relationships, leading the global account coverage strategy and developing business migration strategy. He led Avnet Electronics Marketing's global account sales strategy and coverage model. He began his career with Avnet in Philadelphia in 1983. Earlier in his career he held a number of sales, marketing and operations roles within Avnet. Mr. Gallagher has steadily risen through the ranks of sales and management. He served as the President of Avnet Cilicon and Avnet RF & Microwave, both Americas-based divisions. He has been with Avnet for more than 25 years, holding a series of progressively more responsible positions. He served as the President of the National Electronic Distributors' Association (NEDA) and an active volunteer in the Phoenix-based HandsOn Phoenix organization. He also serves as a member of the Notre Dame Preparatory High School Advisory Board in Scottsdale, Ariz. He also coaches football for the Boys and Girls Club of America and baseball for the Mountain View Little League and is actively involved in local church activities. He earned Avnet leadership awards in 1992 and 1993 and was a recipient of the Chairman's Award in 2001. He is a past president of the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) and is a member of the Global 50, a forum of the world's top global general management executives. Mr. Gallagher holds a B.A. from Drexel University and a certificate from Cal Tech University in Supplier-Base Management and integrating finance and strategy for value creation from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
