Robert G. Ochrym — Vice President of Business Development, Strategic Sales and Marketing at AXT Inc

Mr. Robert G. Ochrym, also known as Bob, has been the Vice President of Business Development Strategic Sales and Marketing at AXT Inc. since October 29, 2009. Mr. Ochrym is responsible for expanding the North American and European markets for AXT and assist in its worldwide raw material sales. He served as Vice President of Business Development at Axt Inc. since July 2006 until October 29, 2009. He served as the Head of Corporate Development at AXT Inc. since July 2006. He served as the Senior Sales Director of Axt Inc. since June 2005. He joined AXT with more than 25 years of experience in substrates, raw materials and device sales, with a strong track record of increasing sales performance. Prior to AXT, Mr. Ochrym was national sales manager at Aixtron, Inc., where he was responsible for North American sales and marketing functions from 2003 to May 2005. Prior to Aixtron, Mr. Ochrym held various positions in sales and marketing, business development and product management at Uniroyal Optoelectronics, Northrop Grumman and Rhone-Poulenc from 1973 to 2003. Mr. Ochrym has a B.A. degree in Biology from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NewYork.
