Mr. Victor Liang has been a Vice President and General Counsel at Baidu, Inc. since June 2011 and has been its an Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer since January 2013. Mr. Liang oversees the legal department, online systems management, policy research, intellectual property and patent-related matters. He served as Senior Director of Baidu's legal department. He directly participated in executing Baidu's IPO in 2005. He has provided strong support on the legal as well as the public policy fronts for Baidu's domestic and international M&A and other business transactions. He has also provided strong legal support in developing new business opportunities and models for Baidu.
