Steven Arthur Shapiro — Executive Chairman at Baldwin & Lyons

Mr. Steven Arthur Shapiro, also known as Steve, serves as Managing Member at New Vernon Investment Management LLC. Mr. Shapiro serves as a Principal Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of New Vernon Wealth Management LLC. He has been an Executive Chairman of Baldwin & Lyons Inc. since October 20, 2015. He serves as a Vice President and Professional Money Manager of SF Investments, Inc. He serves as a Manager of Millennium Group, LLC. He has focused on providing financial advice to clients and managing large investment portfolios across the asset spectrum. Prior to this, he was a Principal at SF Investment Advisers. Mr. Shapiro joined the SF Investment Advisers in 1991. Prior to this, he worked as a Financial Consultant at Arthur, Andersen & Co. from 1989 to 1991. He has been a Director of First Mercury Financial Corporation since 2004. Mr. Shapiro has been a Director of Baldwin & Lyons Inc. since 2007 and served as its Lead Director since February 2010 until October 20, 2015. He is also a Member of Millennium Asset Advisers. He received an M.B.A. from Northwestern University in 1989 and a B.A. from Emory University in 1987.
