Mr. James B. Wiegandt, also known as Jim, has been Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending at Banc of California, N.A. since October 30, 2017. Mr. Wiegandt is responsible for leading the Banc of California's growth and expansion of the CRE division. He has been Managing Director of commercial real estate & multifamily banking at Banc of California, Inc. since November 8, 2017. He leads Banc of California's strategies focused on Commercial Real Estate Banking opportunities with responsibility for commercial real estate and multifamily banking and lending products. He has over 20 years experience creating, building and supporting high performing teams. He served as the Director of Retail Income Property Lending at Luther Burbank Savings, where he led the team to incredible results assisting Luther Burbank to grow from $4.0B to almost $6.0B in assets. Prior to LBS, he served as an Executive Director at Chase Bank/WaMu for over 10 years, where he held several positions focusing on CRE, Asset Management and the MFL businesses. He has also held senior sales and management positions with Nextel Partners and Household Finance. He is active in the community. He has been a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and supported at risk youth by being a voice for them in the court system. He attended Michigan State University as well as San Diego State University where he received his B.A. in Public Affairs. He has also received post-graduation education at Pacific Coast Banking School and ABA Commercial Banking School.
