Mr. Copeland served as an Executive Vice President of M & F bank. Mr. Copeland served as Chief Financial Officer of First United Bancshares Inc. since March 22, 1999 to 2000, Secretary since April 19, 1999 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as Managing Director of a small investment banking firm that specializes in mergers and acquisitions for financial institutions. He has held key management positions at the former First United Bancshares in El Dorado, Arkansas and Union Planters Corporation in Memphis from 1991 to 1999. Mr. Copeland earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Memphis State University. Mr. Copeland is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
