Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

With other companies we are paid under for the work we do.

I still work as a contract for Banfield and it means there are little opportunities to negotiate for better compensation.

Mars has been known for paying above national average, however I don't feel that translates to the MVH businesses.

I feel that my group has had to push to have our job description re-evaluated as we have been given more work with new responsibilities without the added compensation. My LM is trying to get this done and I appreciate it very much.

Pay us appropriately for the experience we bring to the table as individuals.

What are some of the best things about your team?

One of the best things about my team is the spirit of collaboration they bring and the caring about each other.

We are a team that we can reach out to anyone to ask for advice, help, support, we have a great team

The people, I love our team

The work we are doing with Equity, Inclusion & Diversity. We have great resources groups and activation in our local communities to support cultural competent care of our associates, clients and pets.

They encourage work life balance.

I believe everyone cares about the overall mission of the company to make a better world for pets. No one would ever encourage you to sacrifice your mental health or personal life for work.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Stop the politics at MVH. In the past two years, the power dynamics and ignorance of Mars Culture has had negative impacts on Banfield's use of the culture for good.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

it seems that the loudest voice is leading the way with little in the way of consideration of impact of their actions and decisions on hospital associates. it can be improved by slowing down and taking time to focus on changes that are truly beneficial for the long term

I am doing work that is not in my job description. I tis work I do extremely well and it is convenient for HR Leadership to have someone like me handle the toughest projects well. This eliminates any room for me to do any new, high impact work.
