Donna A. Tanoue — Vice Chairman of Client Relations & Community Activities and Director of Bank of Hawaii at Bank of Hawaii

Ms. Donna A. Tanoue serves as the President of Bank of Hawaii. Ms. Tanoue is responsible for Regulatory Relations, Compliance, Law Department, Corporate Secretary's Office, Security, Corporate Communications, charitable through Bank of Hawaii Foundation, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and Government Relations. She serves as an Advisor to Landon on community affairs, pursuing vital community initiatives and partnerships. Ms. Tanoue has been Vice Chairman of Client Relations and Community Activities at Bank of Hawaii Corporation since February 2007 and also serves as its Director of Bank of Hawaii. She serves as President of Bank of Hawaii's Charitable Foundation sponsor of Bank of Hawaii Corp. Ms. Tanoue served as Head of Client Relations and Community activities for Bank of Hawaii Corporation since February 1, 2007. She served as a Partner of Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel from 1987 to 1998. From 1983 to 1987, Ms. Tanoue served as Chairwoman of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) from May 1998 to July 2001. She serves as Vice Chairman at Bank of Hawaii. She served as Vice Chairman of Bank of Hawaii Corporation since February 2007 and also served as its Director. She has been a Director of Bank of Hawaii since May 24, 2005. She serves as a Director of Queen's Health Systems, Bishop Museum, Hawaii Preparatory Academy, Hawaii Community foundation, Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii and The Contemporary Museum. She serves on the board of Trustees of Kaneohe Ranch Company,Ltd., which manages real estate owned by the family trusts of Harold K.L. Castle and Alice H. Castle. She served as a Director of Longs Drug Stores Corp. since 2005. She served as a Director of Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) since 2006. Ms. Tanoue received a Bachelors Degree from University of Hawaii in 1977 and a Juris Doctor Degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1981.
