Mr. Sean D. McGuckin, CPA, CA has been Chief Financial Officer and Group Head of The Bank of Nova Scotia since January 2, 2012 and December 1, 2015 respectively. Mr. McGuckin has been Chief Financial Officer and Group Head of Scotiabank Tier 1 Trust since 2012 and since December 1, 2015 respectively and served as its Executive Vice President since 2012. He has been the Chief Financial Officer of Scotiabank Capital Trust since January 2, 2012 and its Group Head since December 1, 2015 and served as its Executive Vice President since January 2, 2012. He served as an Executive Vice President of The Bank of Nova Scotia since January 2, 2012 and also served as its Senior Vice-President and Head, Risk Policy and Capital Markets, Global Risk Management until January 1, 2012. He served as the Head of Risk Policy & Capital Markets and Senior Vice President of Scotiabank of Scotiabank Subordinated Notes Trust.
