Executive Bio

Mr. Keith A. Western serves as an Executive Vice President of California & Southern Oregon Commercial Banking and Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking - California & S. Oregon - Banner Bank at Banner Bank. Mr. Western has 38 years of banking experience across multiple markets including the western, eastern and mid-western United States and Canada. He served as Regional President of Northwest Banking of AmericanWest Bank NA since 2011. He started his career with Security Pacific National Bank and migrated to Bank of America with their merger where he spent approximately 15 years. He served as the Executive Vice President, Western Division Director for Citibank, where he led middle market and business banking and spent approximately 12 years. He has extensive experience in leading business and commercial banking teams throughout the western part of the U.S.; he also has had significant experience in credit administration and problem loan resolution. He has been very involved in charitable organizations throughout his career, including serving as a board member for the Children's Hospital of California, Chairman of the Special Olympics and Executive Trustee for the Fresno Historical Society. He graduated with honors from Woodbury University with his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Finance.
