Mr. Timothy Luke, also known as Tim, has been Managing Director of Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) for Investment Banking team for New York and Vice Chairman at Barclays PLC since July 2014. Mr. Luke served as Research Analyst of Barclays Capital, Research Division. He served as an Analyst of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., Research Division. Before taking his position at 10 Downing Street, Mr. Luke spent 18 years with Barclays and Lehman Brothers in New York. Mr. Luke joined Barclays following three years as a senior adviser on Business, Innovation and Trade for British Prime Minister, David Cameron. In his role at 10 Downing Street, Mr. Luke has been involved in a range of policy development and business engagement activities. He served as a Managing Director and the Global Sector Head for Technology Equity Research. He coordinated the top-ranked (by Institutional Investor) team of research analysts across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Mr. Luke was also a 'Number 1'-ranked analyst in polls by Institutional Investor and Greenwich Associates in three different sectors from 1999 to 2010.
