Timothy Throsby — Chief Executive of Corporate & Investment Bank and President of Corporate & International at Barclays Investment Bank

Mr. Timothy Throsby, also known as Tim, has been Chief Executive of Corporate & Investment Bank and President of Corporate & International at Barclays PLC and Barclays Bank PLC since January 2017 and also its Interim Head of Markets Division since May 2017. Prior to joining Barclays in January 2017, Tim worked for JP Morgan where he held a variety of senior management roles, most recently serving as Global Head of Equities. Tim has had an extensive career in banking and asset management, working initially for Credit Suisse and Macquarie, before joining Goldman Sachs in 1995 as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Derivatives for Asia. He served as the Head of Global Equities at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since September 2012 until 2017. He served as Global Head of Equities at J.P. Morgan Securities Plc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Investment Group (asia) Ltd. He served as Unit President of Citadel Investment Group LLC. He served as the Head of Equities Asia of Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lehman Brothers Inc. In 2002, he joined Lehman Brothers to lead the Asia Equities Division. He serves as a Director of J.P. Morgan Securities Plc. Mr. Throsby holds Bachelor's Degree from University of Sydney.
