George Michael Bee — Senior Vice President for Lama and Frontera District Development at Barrick Gold Corporation

Mr. George Michael Bee served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Mining Inc. from April 22, 2014 to December 16, 2015 and as its President until December 16, 2015. Mr. Bee served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Andina Minerals, Inc. from January 19, 2009 to January 2013. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Aurelian Resources Inc. since August 1, 2007. He has been Senior Vice President for Lama and Frontera District Development at Barrick Gold Corporation since September 12, 2016. He is responsible to drive forward initial conceptual work completed by the project team to date, working closely with Argentina Executive Director as well as the Pascua-Lama team in Chile Executive Project Director and Executive Director for Chile. Mr. Bee has more than 30-years of experience operating and developing world-class mines and projects. He has worked for a total of 16 years from 1988 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2007 for Barrick Gold Corporation in the various capacities including; Vice President for Corporate Affairs (Argentina), General Manager during the Construction and Development of Veladero Mine (Argentina), Mine Manager of Pascua Lama (Chile -Argentina), Operations Manager of Pierina Gold Mine (Peru), and Mine Manager at Goldstrike (NV, USA). He served as Director of International Technical Projects at Barrick Gold Corporation since 1989, when he first started with Barrick Goldstrike Mines Inc. He is a Mining Engineer and has over 30 years' experience in the mining industry, developing world-class gold mining projects. He has brought along projects from an advanced exploration stage, through feasibility to construction and into production, including two gold mines - Veladero in Argentina and Pierina Mine in Peru. In 1998, he went to Latin America as an Operations Manager to finalize construction and commence operations at the Pierina mine in Peru. Along with senior operational roles at Barrick, he served as a Senior Manager at Kinross and Palabora Mining Company in South Africa. He has been an Independent Director of Peregrine Metals Ltd. since October 22, 2010. He served as an Independent Director of Stillwater Mining Company from November 24, 2012 to May 4, 2017. He served as a Non-Executive Director at Minera IRL Limited from June 14, 2016 to September 12, 2016. He served as a Director of Jaguar Mining Inc. from June 10, 2013 to December 16, 2015. He served as a Director of Andina Minerals, Inc. from January 19, 2009 to December 31, 2012 and Sandspring Resources Ltd. since September 21, 2011 until September 11, 2015. Mr. Bee holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining from the Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall, United Kingdom.
