There is zero communication from Leadership. Everything is purposely vague and cryptic which promotes discontent from the employees

PTO when I'm allowed to actually use it, and tune out when I'm on it. Overall I'd say its fair

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Long hours expected, no recognition
Barrick pays at P-50. Middle of the road, I believe if they a little more competitively they would have better retention with front line supervisors.

I feel that I am under paid because other industries pay this position about 25% more than what I am receiving but because of my management team I stay for now

Act as a team, practice the "One team One mission all the time" not just when it suites them. It is very cut-throat. When times are good everyone is supportive, when times are bad everyone points fingers. That is not how things should be. We rise and fall together.

Many coworkers are underqualified and not interested in excelling in their roles. This is seen as a job and not a career

Bad culture in the company
There is no focus on personal development and growth internally. The leadership speaks in a cultish manner and if you oppose them then you just do not have any vision Management often speaks to its employees in a very disrespectful tone
