Mr. Greg Walker was appointed Senior Vice President, Operational and Technical Excellence of Barrick Gold Corporation ('Barrick') in November 2017. Previously, Mr. Walker was Executive General Manager of the Pueblo Viejo mine in the Dominican Republic. He joined Barrick in 2003, and advanced through a series of progressively senior operational leadership roles in complex and challenging environments, including General Manager of the Bulyanhulu mine in Tanzania and Executive General Manager of the Porgera Joint Venture in Papua New Guinea. Mr. Walker holds a post graduate diploma in Extractive Metallurgy from the Western Australian School of Mines at Curtin University.
