Basrah Gas Mission Statement
Natural gas can be the fuel that provides Iraq with the secure and reliable power that is a fundamental need of any modern society, but today much of it is wasted. Our role is to safely and efficiently transport natural gas from where it is produced to where it is needed, and process it into useful products. Our aim is to quadruple capacity, helping Iraq to power itself and ultimately become a gas exporter. We will achieve this by rehabilitating and building infrastructure, developing our people and local capabilities, and investing wisely.
