Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
401 k and a match to whats being put in like most companies do better health insurance
The pay is commission based. So depending on how much furniture one sells each month determines one's salary. There are months when even the best sales person just does not sell. There are numerous persons who enter the store simply to browse. The pay is just not enough!
The traffic is very low, presumably from a lack of consistent advertising. Compensation is based solely on sales, so more traffic would equal more sales, and higher compensation.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The Zenith management uses the Bassett furniture as trailer fill. If the proper effort was used Bassett profits would increase

Manager is awesome & my coworkers are great. Our product is beautiful
