Mr. Bobby G. Blakley serves as the President of West Virginia at BB & T Corp. Mr. Blakley served as the President of North Atlanta Region at BB & T Corp., since March 2008. Mr. Blakley served as President of South Atlanta Region of BB & T Corp. from January 2006 to March 2008. He joined BB & T in 1988. He worked in various capacities at BB&T and served as its Corporate Banker in Greensboro, N.C., and as Area Executive for the Atlanta region since 2002. He served as a BB & T Financial Center Manager in Kernersville and Goldsboro, N.C., and a Business Services Officer in Sanford and Greensboro, N.C. While in Greensboro, he served as a Member of the Chamber of Commerce and the local Rotary Club. Mr. Blakley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration and is a 1988 graduate of the Southern National Management Development Program.
