Executive Bio

Mr. Scott R. Gamble has been Greater Delaware Valley Regional President at BB&T Corporation since August 2015. Mr. Gamble has nearly 30 years of commercial banking experience in the Delaware Valley, is responsible for the delivery of commercial banking, retail banking, residential lending and business development for 25 National Penn community offices in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties. National Penn's general bank is comprised of five region's led by region President ' Central, Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western. He joined Susquehanna Bank as Chief Executive Officer of its Delaware Valley Division in July 2014. He served as the President of Southern Region at National Penn Bank since August 2010. Prior to joining National Penn, Mr. Gamble was Senior Vice President and Regional Credit Manager and Regional Sales Manager for Sovereign/Santander Bank. Previous to that, Gamble was division head for Fleet/Bank of America's Middle Market Corporate Banking Group. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Grove City College, has pursued additional training in management and capital markets.
