Joseph M. Nowicki — Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer at Beacon Roofing Supply

Mr. Joseph M. Nowicki, also known as Joe, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. since April 1, 2013 and has been its Treasurer since March 25, 2013. At Beacon, Mr. Nowicki is responsible for the oversight of finance, information technology and investor relations. Mr. Nowicki served as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief/Corporate Compliance Officer and Treasurer of Spartan Motors Inc. from June 30, 2009 to March 22, 2013 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He has more than two decades of financial management and operations expertise. Previously, he spent approximately 17 years with the Michigan-based furniture manufacturer, Herman Miller, Inc., where he served as a Treasurer and Member of Herman Miller's key leadership team, managing all treasury activities for Herman Miller including establishing the overall capital and debt structure, overseeing the pension and investment strategy and leading investor relations activities. Mr. Nowicki served as a Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations at Herman Miller Inc. since 2003. He was with Herman Miller, Inc. from 1992 to 2009. He served as Vice President of Finance for International Operations at Herman Miller Inc. from 2000 to 2003 and served as its Vice President within North American Finance. He held several operations and finance positions, including working for IBM and General Motors and spent several years in public accounting. He has been a Director of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. since June 2010. He serves as a Director at ASV Holdings, Inc. He served as a Director of Bagger Dave's Burger Tavern from 2016 to February 8, 2017. Mr. Nowicki is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Canisius College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan - Ross School of Business.
