Ms. Cindy Davis serves as an Executive Vice President of Global Customer Insights and Analytics at Walmart Inc. (formerly known as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.). Ms. Davis served as an Executive Vice President of Global Consumer Insights at Walmart Inc. (Formerly known as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) since February 2011. Prior to that, Ms. Davis served as an Executive Vice President of Membership, Marketing & E-Commerce for Sam's Club A Wholesale Division at Walmart Inc. (formerly known as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) from August 2008 to February 2011. Ms. Davis's areas of focus include enhancement of the membership experience in more than 590 locations, building loyal relationships with both Business and Advantage Members and increasing brand awareness for Sam's Club and the many premium benefits available to card carrying members. Ms. Davis served as President of Global Development & Communications at Rapp. She served as Managing Director for Dallas Office of Rapp Collins Worldwide. Ms. Davis has clients over 20 years of marketing experience on both the client and agency side, including brand-building, field marketing support, direct response and current customer optimization strategies. Most recently, Ms. Davis served as Vice President of Brand Marketing for the Pizza Hut division of YUM! Brands where she was responsible for brand positioning, strategic development and national and field marketing. She established a new marketing strategy for Pizza Hut using family-oriented brand positioning insight and created a national calendar that generated record-breaking sales results. Prior to that, Ms. Davis was on the agency side as Executive Vice President, Senior Account Director with BBDO. Ms. Davis had leadership responsibility for the national Pizza Hut account and created the new Pizza Hut 'Family Sharing' brand positioning. She spearheaded the integration of Pizza Hut's agencies including TLP (Promotions), Dieste (Hispanic), Porter Novelli (PR) and Targetbase (direct marketing). She has extensive client-side hospitality experience working at Promus Hotel Corporation, Starwood Vacation Ownership and Harrah's Entertainment. She served as Senior Vice President of Brand Management at Promus Hotel Corporation, with responsibility for Doubletree Hotels including nearly 200 hotels and representing over $1 billion in annual revenues. Ms. Davis pioneered a comprehensive brand management model leveraging overall brand vision and strategies in all key areas - positioning, pricing, distribution, product/service experience and owner relations. She also served as Vice President, Brand Management for Starwood Vacation Ownership, where she was responsible for introducing the Westin and Sheraton brands into the fast- growing vacation ownership industry. Earlier in her career, Ms. Davis spent 13 years at Tracy-Locke/DDB Needham where she rose to Senior Vice President/Group Account Director working on clients such as Budget Rent-a-Car, Embassy Suites, Frito-Lay, PepsiCo beverage brands and Mountain Bell/ US West telecommunications. Ms. Davis earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the College of William & Mary and a Master's degree in International Marketing at the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).
