Richard Mayfield — Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Walmart International at bebe stores

Mr. Richard Mayfield has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Walmart International at Walmart Inc. (formerly known as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) since December 16, 2016. Based in Bentonville, Mr. Mayfield also leads International Strategy with strategic oversight of International Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) and Financial Services. Mr. Mayfield oversees the growth and strategy for Walmart International, a fast-growing segment of Walmart with more than 6,200 stores and more than 850,000 associates in 26 countries outside the United States. Mr. Mayfield joined Walmart in 2012. Mr. Mayfield served as Senior Vice President of EMEA Region and Chief Financial Officer of EMEA Region at Walmart Inc. (formerly known as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) since July 13, 2016 and since January 2014 respectively, where he was responsible for finance activities including accounting and controls, financial services and business planning and analysis in Europe, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and Canada. Mr. Mayfield served as the Chief Financial Officer of Asda, ASDA Stores Limited and ASDA Group Limited from February 2012 to January 2014. He served as Finance Director of Waitrose Division at Redgrave Partners LLP from 2004 to 2009. He co-founded Survey.com Limited and served as its Chief Financial Officer and Research Director. Mr. Mayfield has a variety of experience in financial and strategic leadership roles at retailers including Kingfisher, House of Fraser and Waitrose, as well as strategy consulting experience with LEK. He served as Finance Director of Waitrose Division at John Lewis Partnership plc since July 2004 and was Responsible for economic forecasting, financial planning/performance appraisal, the investment appraisal process and competitive benchmarking. He joined the John Lewis Partnership in September 2002 as the Head of Financial Analysis and served Waitrose division in September 2003 as Head of Finance Services. He served at Superdrug and House of Fraser. He served at LEK Consulting in London. He has been Propietary Director of Wal-Mart de Mexico SAB De CV since March 24, 2015. He served as a Director of Broadstreet Great Wilson Europe Limited until February 02, 2014. Mr. Mayfield served his early career qualifying as an ACA with Ernst & Young in 1994. Mr. Mayfield graduated from Cambridge where he read Economics and is also a Fellow of the RSA.
