Fred Stephan — President of Bemis North America at Bemis Company

Mr. Fred Stephan has been President of Bemis North America at Bemis Company, Inc. since joining in February 2017. Mr. Stephan served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Insulation Systems at Johns Manville Corp. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Roofing Systems Business at Johns Manville Corporation until February 2017. Previously, Mr. Stephan served as Vice President of Information Technology and Business Process Simplification at Johns Manville and as its Vice President and General Manager of the High Performance Nonwovens business. He had successfully served in a number of general management and functional roles over the past 12 years at Johns Manville. Before coming to Johns Manville in 2004, he worked for 20 years at General Electric Co., which included assignments at GE Power Systems, GE Plastics and GE Lighting. Mr. Stephan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Lighting Systems Inc., among others. He serves as the Chairman of the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association. He served as a Director at GridPoint, Inc. since February 2014. Mr. Stephan received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
