The original mission is great - the culture has gone incredibly downhill over the past year or so. LOTS of departures, including many BIPOC. New CEO and leadership are moving in a cold, impersonal direction in hopes of being acquired. This feels like the shell of the company I started with in 2018.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Unlimited time off that is encouraged to be used.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop just hiring friends and connections and bring back people with a bit of heart and humanity.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There are some fantastic, passionate people on the team. When they are allowed to shine and show their passions, good things happen.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Opportunities to meet many stakeholders, though at this point I believe we have too many rounds of interviewing, even for low level jobs.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers are the best part, though in my nearly 4 years here I have seen far too many amazing people leave feeling hopeless.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No 401K match. A drop in the bucket for WFH funds. Most of the newly brought it management does not care about employee success, growth, or morale.
