Geoffrey B. Lamb — Managing Director of Public Policy and Senior Advisor at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Mr. Geoffrey B. Lamb, Geoff serves as Managing Director of Public Policy Foundation Operations at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and also serves as its Senior Advisor on International Policy Development. Mr. Lamb leads a team that partners with public policy colleagues in each of the three program areas-Global Health, Global Development, and United States-to help build strategic relationships that are critical to the foundation's work. Prior to becoming managing director of public policy, he served as a Senior Fellow for the foundation's Global Development Program. Before joining the foundation, he served as the Vice President, Concessional Finance and Global Partnerships of The World Bank Group. Mr. Lamb was educated in South Africa and the United Kingdom, where he was a fellow and deputy director of the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex. He serves as a Trustee of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
