Mr. Kenneth A. DiPietro, also known as Ken, has been an Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Biogen Idec Ltd. and Biogen Inc. since January 2012. Mr. DiPietro has 30 years of experience to Lenovo in both human resources and organizational development. Mr. DiPietro served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Lenovo Group Limited since August 4, 2006. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Lenovo India Pvt. Ltd. He served as a Full-time HR Consultant to Lenovo Executive Staff. From January 2003 to April 2005, he served as Vice President of Human Resources at Microsoft Corporation, where he was responsible for planning, compensation, staffing, training and executive development. Mr. DiPietro joined Microsoft in 2003. He was responsible for developing strategies and programs to enhance staffing, compensation, benefits, executive development, diversity and workplace culture for Microsoft worldwide. He served as Vice President, Human Resources for the Americas at Dell Inc., where he helped align its human resources organization with its business goals. He joined Dell from PepsiCo, where he served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources from 1999 to 2002, where he was responsible for international compensation and benefits, staffing and education and development, for an organization. Mr. DiPietro was responsible for an organization that spanned more than 160 countries across 10 business units. While at PepsiCo, he architected and led a business restructuring effort that provided a platform for business turnaround. Mr. DiPietro spent 17 years at PepsiCo, serving in a range of human resource and general management positions. His responsibilities at PepsiCo encompassed many different functions, including international compensation and benefits, staffing, education and development and organization planning. He is a Member of the Center for Advanced Human Resources at Cornell and the Labor Policy Association. He has been a Director of InVivo Therapeutics Holdings Corp. since December 18, 2012. Mr. DiPietro holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
