Dr. Paul McKenzie, Ph.D., has been an Executive Vice President of Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology at Biogen Inc. since July 01, 2016. Dr. McKenzie joined Biogen in February from Johnson & Johnson, where he held a variety of leadership roles, served as Vice President of Research & Development for J&J's Ethicon business. Dr. McKenzie led the manufacturing and technical operations team responsible for internal and external manufacturing of Janssen's pharmaceutical portfolio. He also ran Global Development for Janssen R&D, helping to manage pipeline activities from discovery through clinical development and commercialization. He also held various R&D and manufacturing positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Merck. Dr. McKenzie holds BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
