Executive Bio

Mr. Alex Schott serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations at BioScrip, Inc. Mr. Schott joined BioScrip in September 2016. Mr. Schott served as the Chief Financial Officer of Home Solutions Inc. since 2013. Mr. Schott was responsible for leading accounting, finance, treasury, reimbursement and economic strategy and forecasting for the rapidly-growing home infusion portfolio company of KRG. Before Home Solutions, from 2010 to 2014, he served as Vice President of Finance for Lanx, Inc., an international medical device company that was acquired in the fall of 2013 for $147 million by Biomet, Inc., a global manufacturer of musculoskeletal and biotechnology products. Prior to Lanx, he served as Vice President and Controller of Coram Specialty Infusion Services Inc. from 2000 to 2009. At Coram, he was responsible for the integration of Coram's finance, accounting and treasury departments into Apria Healthcare Group during their acquisition of Coram in late 2007. Along with his nearly 10 years with Coram, he has relevant experience in finance and accounting in the retail, wholesale, resort and medical response industries. Mr. Schott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
