  • When will my box ship?

    Birchbox Beauty Subscriptions ship by the 10th of each month. Birchbox Grooming and Grooming Plus Subscriptions ship by the 25th.

    If this is your first box, your box will ship within 10 business dates of your initial order date.

    How is my box delivered?

    Birchboxes are ground-shipped via our shipping partner beforethey'rehanded off to USPS for final delivery. This means youll receive your Birchbox shipment in your mailbox each month no need to sign!

    Do you ship internationally?

    Currently, Birchbox.com does not operate shipments outside of the US and US territories. For international purchases, we operate as Birchbox UK, Birchbox Spain, and Birchbox France.

  • Auto-renewal reminders are sent to subscribers with 3, 6, and 12-month beauty & grooming subscriptions 30 days before it is set to renew. If the subscription is not opted out, it will automatically renew and cannot be canceled mid-term.

    All renewal reminders are sent to the email address associated with your Birchbox subscription and the subject line is: Birchbox Beauty/Grooming Subscription Renewal Notice.

    You can manage your subscription options, automatic renewal, and billing details in your Account Settings.

  • On mobile web or desktop, Month-to-Month Subscriptions (without term commitment) can be canceled at any time in your Account Settings beneath the Subscriptions heading. Ifyou'vealready been billed for this months box, your cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle.

    3, 6 or 12-Month Subscription Plans (with term commitment) cannot be canceled mid-term. You are able to opt-out of auto-renewal within your Account Settings or by reaching out to [email protected].

    Birchbox Subscription Plans cannot be paused at this time.

    Birchboxes are nonrefundable and are ineligible for returns.

  • Payment and Addresses

    You can manage your saved cards and addresses within your Account Settings. Be sure to check off which cards/addresses youd like to default for your subscription or Shop orders to make checkout easier!

    If you're updating your subscription address, be sure to do so before the 25th of the month for beauty subscriptions or the 10th for grooming subscriptions.

  • You can gift a 3, 6, or 12-Month Beauty orGrooming Subscription by purchasing a Gift Subscription Card.* Your recipient can redeem their Gift Subscription Gift Card and start receiving boxes any time. Gift Subscription Cards will ship to the address provided upon checkout.

    Your Gift recipient will need to redeem their Gift Subscription Card, complete their own Profile and input their address details to initiate shipments.

    Gift Subscription Cards cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.

    What happens when the gift ends? Can I cancel a gift subscription?

    Gift Subscription Cards are one-time orders and will not automatically renew. Once the gift ends, you can purchase another card or they can purchase their own subscription to keep the boxes coming.

    What if my recipient moves?

    Your recipient will be able to manage their addresses and can make changes within their Account Settings at any time.

  • Your samples are based on your Profile be sure to keep it updated! Well also take your product review feedback and purchase history into consideration each month. Your Profile will tell us which product categories youre most excited about, but we will be sure to send all types of samples throughout your Subscription. We currently do not offer the option to exclude a sample type from your shipments entirely.

    Every month, you can choose one of the samples for your next box or opt into a curated box, which is a predetermined set of samples. Youll receive an email when its time to choose!

    *Sample Choice is not available for Birchbox Grooming subscriptions. Birchbox Grooming Plus subscriptions include the opportunity to choose a lifestyle item monthly.

  • Once you have become a Member, you can begin racking up Birchbox points (Points) the following ways:

    Shop With Us! every time you purchase a full-size product from our online shop (the Shop) or a gift membership, you earn 1 Point for every whole $1 spent per order (excluding tax, shipping charges and fees). If youre a Birchbox Ace, you earn 1.3 Points for every whole dollar you spend per order!

    Fill out Sample Feedback surveys! Members earn 10 Points for each completed sample feedback survey (look for the feedback icon on every product detail page) for the first 5 products reviewed in connection with your account.

    Birchbox Points expire within 6 months from the date they were earned.Points earned via the Swap Your Box For Points Subscription feature do not expire.

    Redeem your subscription card by following these steps:

    To obtain your claim code, scratch off the box above the barcode to reveal

    Enter your claim code in the field labeled "Redeem Code" and click Submit

    Create your account or log into your existingBirchbox account

    Enter your shipping and payment information and select "Confirm and Redeem"

    Your first box will ship within 10 business days. From there, your remaining boxes will begin to ship each month for the duration of your plan!

    What happens once my subscription plan has ended?

  • I am trying to checkout, but my order won't process!

    Double-check your card details. If the error message has no specific information, its possible the incorrect expiration date or CVV code was entered. If youre using a saved payment method, we recommend re-entering the card details as if it were a new form of payment and submitting.

    If youre receiving an error message related to the billing address, try processing the order with a previous billing address. Rest assured, you can choose a different shipping address!

    I have multiple charges on my statement, but I only placed one order.

    If you attempted to place your order more than once, all attempts will show on your statement as pending charges. All declined charges will fall off of your statement within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.

    UPS Ground - $7.00 (1-5 Business Days)

    UPS 2nd Day Air - $15.00 (2 Business Days)

    UPS Next Day Air - $22.00 (Next Business Day) FREE on $150+!

    Tracking and Delivery

    Well email your tracking information as soon as its available. You can also track your orders in your Purchase History while logged into your account. The link will be available once your order status is "Complete."

    Next-Day and 2nd-Day Shipping are unavailable for 1) P.O. box, APO/FPO, and non-Continental US addresses 2) orders containing (but not limited to) nail polish, perfume and aerosols, and 3) addresses where free standard shipping will take no more than 3 days

  • I received a Gift Subscription Card. What do I do first?

    Full-sized orders are processed and shipped out within 48 business hoursof your purchase. You are not able to make changes through your Order History or Account Settings on existing orders.

  • Birchbox Loyalty Points are redeemable towards purchases of full-size products in the Shop in any increment. You can redeem your Points during the checkout process. You may not use Points to purchase Subscription Plans.

    You'll be able to apply your Birchbox Loyalty Points as a method of payment at checkout. Click the arrow to the right of Payment Details and Loyalty Points afteryou'veindicated your shipping address and method. Youll be able to apply your Points right above the field with your card info. Your new total will recalculate before you submit your order.

    *As an Ace, youll earn 1.3 Points per full dollar spent, and your earned value will be rounded up to the nearest whole number (i.e. spend $34.20 = $34 x 1.3 = 44.2 rounds up to 45 Points earned on that purchase.)

    How do I become an Ace?

    You become a Birchbox Ace once you've spent $300 with Birchbox during the calendar year (January-December.) Ace status is good through the calendar year in which you qualify and the following calendar year. Annual re-qualification is required.

  • What is your return policy?

    We accept product returns within 90 days of your purchase. Returns are free!

    Please note, original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Items purchased with a Gift with Purchase can only be refunded with the gift included in your return.Birchboxes and Gift Subscription Gift Cards are nonrefundable and are ineligible for returns. Original order costs are nonrefundable.

    How do I make a return?

    Contact us with your Order Number and name of the item(s) youd like to send back, and well email you a prepaid return label to print.

    How will I be refunded?

    Well refund your original form of payment. If you used Birchbox Loyalty Points toward your order, those will be refunded as well (in the form of Birchbox Loyalty Points). Please note that Birchbox Loyalty Points cannot be exchanged for cash value.
