Mr. Matthew Jonathan Mallow served as the Chief Legal Officer at BlackRock, Inc. from 2015 to November 22, 2016 and served as its Senior Managing Director until November 22, 2016 and served as its Interim General Counsel since February 2012 and Senior Advisor since June 2010. Mr. Mallow was responsible for all legal affairs and regulatory compliance for BlackRock. He joined BlackRock in 2010 in the legal and compliance department. Mr. Mallow served as the General Counsel at BlackRock Investment Management LLC. Previously, he was a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, where he led the firm's corporate finance department advising investment firms, global corporations and governments in a variety of financing matters. Mr. Mallow has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University School of Law. He has earned an LL.M. in 1968 and an LL.B. in 1967 from New York University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Brown University in 1964.
