  • At BlackRock, we have a flexible time off policy. Employees are encouraged to take as much time off as they need to recharge with the approval of their manager of course

  • Fairly standard. You earn vacation by time at the firm and by level of employee.

  • It is decent. You get more vacation the longer you stay and the higher up you go. I think you max out at 20 days. However, in the US I wonder if anyone really takes 20 days.

  • Not much but they are working on it. It is still finance.

  • Framed that way, it is difficult to answer as I don’t have specific numbers. But there is a great deal of diversity, and an emphasis on both diversity and inclusion.

  • This varies by rank. In order to be promoted you have to be operating in the next role at a sustained level before being put up for promotion. You need to have excellent ratings and support within and without your LOB. It goes without saying the higher up you go the harder it becomes to get a promotion.
