Firm has grown - you need to adjust leadership structure to accomodate size. Hire middle management that actually cares about people. Culture carries are leaving and being replaced by not the same caliber.

I dont feel as if they do their part, and rely on my to do not only my job, but in some cases theirs as well. I also believe alot of people take shortcuts that lead to bad design and it causes many delays and issues soon afterward that affect my team.

Better culture, more inclusivity and connection
A bit of appreciation for the work we do. When a new manager starts itd be nice for them to get to know what we do. Show an interest. Instead of just looking out for themselves.
Hire more diverse people with education

Background check. That is terrible experience. I was close to change my mind and not accept offer because background check. Before this one, I have 2 back checks and both gone smoothly.
When asked to do an interview, itd be nice to be able to talk. Not sit there like a spare part, while the manager talks .
Ask real finance questions and test
Too many new clients being taken on and not enough workers. Staff leaving and not being replaced. More pressure on staff left.
Compensation needs to be revamped to be competitive to peer companies.
