Robert Lawrence Goldstein — COO, Senior MD & Global Head of Blackrock Solutions at BlackRock

Mr. Robert Lawrence Goldstein, also known as Rob, serves as the Chief Operating Officer since June 2014 at Global Head of BlackRock Solutions and Senior Managing Director at BlackRock, Inc. Mr. Goldstein served as an Analyst since 1994 at Head of BlackRock Solutions and Head of Institutional Client Business. He helps oversees the day-to-day global business at the firm and ensures that the organization, including its investments, client, risk and technology functions have the necessary connectivity, coordination and operating processes. In his previous role at the firm, Mr. Goldstein played a key role in developing and providing innovative products and services to institutional investors around the world. He joined the firm in 1994 the portfolio analytics group and worked as a risk advisor to mortgage and insurance clients and led the development of the infrastructure and processes used to model and analyze client portfolios. Mr. Goldstein was instrumental in building the client service, business development and implementation of capabilities of the firm's portfolio and risk management platform. He is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of BlackRock Fund Advisors and BlackRock Advisors, LLC. Mr. Goldstein is also the Chief Operating Officer at BlackRock Investment Management LLC. Mr. Goldstein was twice-named to Fortune's 40 Under 40 list and was selected for Institutional Investor's Tech 50 as one of the top technology entrepreneurs in financial services. He co-authored Nonagency Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities in the eighth edition of The Handbook of Fixed Income Securities and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and meetings. Mr. Goldstein received a B.S. degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Economics from Binghamton University in 1994.
