I think they overly focus on sales and referral bonuses. My branch is incredibly slow compared to other branches nearby and it is unfair that our anual bonuses are affected due to that.

For the amount of work and stress we handle daily the pay is way bellow of what other companies offer to its employees

the problem is the corporation because some coworkers to throw others under the bus just so they can reach goals

Bonuses and future growth are solely based on sales or identity. I have seen bmo lose talented employees by over working and under delivering promises. Telling 4 people they are next on the list then to hire outside of the company. The quickest to move up is to complain the most or have sob storie
