Mara Motherway — Head of Government Relations at Booz Allen Hamilton

Ms. Mara Motherway has been Head of Government Relations at Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., since July 2017. Ms. Motherway has been Head of Government Relations at Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation since June 1, 2017. Ms. Motherway is responsible for strengthening Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation's relationships across the federal government and delivering substantive expertise on public policy issues. Most recently, she served as Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation's Business Development executive for its Military Intelligence business. Prior to Booz Allen, she was a business development and strategy executive at BAE Systems. Ms. Motherway has nearly 25 years of government and private sector experience to this role. While in government, her diverse career included deploying to the Middle East in support of Marine Corps combat operations, leading the Pentagon Division of the Joint Intelligence Task Force for Counter Terrorism, providing acquisition oversight of the Department of Defense Satellite Communications portfolio, managing legislative affairs for the Defense Intelligence Agency and serving as the strategic advisor to the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. As a business development and strategy executive, she ensured her deep mission understanding enabled business leaders to see and translate market opportunities and drive growth. She is a retired U.S. Naval officer and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. Ms. Motherway has a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University and a M.S. in National Resource Strategy (Distinguished Graduate) from National Defense University.
