Mr. Michael A. Farber serves as Senior Executive Advisor at Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation and served as an Executive Vice President of Information Technology until, June, 2016. Mr. Farber also helps lead Booz Allen's IT Strategy and Architecture & Design Centers of Excellence. He served as a Vice President of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. Mr. Farber has more than 25 years of experience providing IT strategy, management architecture, and design services to public and private sector organizations. These include federal civilian, defense, and national security agencies and oversight institutions; and commercial clients across the health, energy, consumer products, and media industries. Mr. Farber and his team worked with the Office of Management and Budget and the Federal CIO Council to establish government-wide requirements, training, and a toolset for IT portfolio management, capital planning, and investment control. They also created Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA). He is a frequent keynote Speaker on contemporary IT topics. Mr. Farber received the Federal100 Award for his EA work and impact across the federal government. Mr. Farber earned a B.A. in environmental design and planning from the University of New York at Buffalo and also holds an M.P.A. in public policy and administration from Columbia University.
