William R. Phelps — Executive Vice President and Leader of U.S. Commercial Business at Booz Allen Hamilton

Mr. William R. Phelps, also known as Bill, has been an Executive Vice President and Leader of U.S. Commercial Business of Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation since September 8, 2016 and responsible for expanding Booz Allens commercial business in support of its Vision 2020 strategy to achieve sustainable quality growth. Mr. Phelps served as Chief Operating Officer of Integral Ad Science, Inc. He is a trusted advisor to senior client security executives and a widely respected keynote speaker and panelist at major security conferences. Mr. Phelps joined Integral in late 2015 to scale its operations across the entire delivery spectrum, from R&D to Client Services. Mr. Phelps served as Executive Vice President of DemandTec Inc. since January 10, 2008 and its Chief Operating Officer since March 2009. Mr. Phelps served as Chief Customer Officer of DemandTec Inc. from January 10, 2008 to March 2009, where he managed all delivery functions, including Product Management, Engineering, Science, SaaS Operations and Professional Services and also served as its Senior Vice President of Professional Services from August 1, 2007 to January 10, 2008. He served as Vice President of Professional Services for Ketera Technologies. Previously, Mr. Phelps spent over 10 years managing the Professional Services teams for a number of private and public companies, including Ketera Technologies, Kana Software and CrossWorlds Software. He served as Vice President of Professional Services for Kana Communications since December 1998. He served as Vice President of Professional Services of Selectica and SWK Holdings Corporation since December 1998. Mr. Phelps Founded and Led professional services of CrossWorlds Software from March 1997 to November 1998. He also worked in management consulting focused on technology strategy at both Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Accenture. He previously led the professional services organizations at Silicon Energy and PowerMarket. He served as a Member of the Commercial Group of Accenture, where he focused on distribution and manufacturing systems design, development and implementation. His background also includes management consulting experience with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he served as a senior member of the Information Technology Group focused on supply chain management strategy and tactics for large manufacturing clients. From January 1994 to February 1997, Mr. Phelps served as a Principal Consultant of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He began his career at Andersen Consulting. Mr. Phelps studied BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. He earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin where he won the 1986 Moot Corp Venture Design Competition and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut.
