Boston Children's Hospital Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

You can get a pension after 3 years

i make make 23 hourly for an entry level position

Review from Admin Dept

It is fair and I am very satisfied

Review from Operations Dept

Great healthcare, I think there could be more support for satellite sites.

Review from Operations Dept

Given that it is a non-profit, the benefits are quite worthwhile.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Not valued by current manager My annual review is currently 48 weeks (almost a year) overdue

They treat employees as if they are illiterate just because they dont speak the english language or cannot read or write well. They brush them off and use terms like "them" or "those people". 15.00 is not enough for the work we do or the treatment we recieve.

Review from Operations Dept

There are other managers in the division who are not doing their jobs but they make more because they have a higher title. People should be promoted/paid based on work not connections.

Review from Admin Dept

Management does not foster professional development. Health insurance is expensive. Salaries are lower than comparable area hospitals
