Mr. Benjamin Michael Vaughan, also known as Ben, serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. Mr. Vaughan joined Brookfield in 2001. He serves as a Senior Managing Partner at Brookfield Asset Management Inc. Mr. Vaughan serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Brascan Asset Management Inc. and Brookfield Infrastructure Group. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at North American Operations of Brookfield Renewable Power Preferred Equity Inc. since April 2008. Mr. Vaughan served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at BRP Energy Group L.P. He served as the President since February 2011 and Chief Operating Officer at Brascan Asset Management Inc. Mr. Vaughan served as the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President at Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners LP and Chief Operating Officer at North America since April 2008. From 2012 to 2013, he served as the Chief Investment Officer at Brookfield Brazil. In the role of Chief Financial Officer at CANOE, he played a key role in financing, business planning, identifying and closing acquisitions and managing fast paced growth. Prior to joining Brascan, Mr. Vaughan worked in the United States at a marketing and technology services firm as Chief Financial Officer. He has been the Chair of Board at Acadian Timber Corp. since April 29, 2015 and has been its Director since April 29 2015. Mr. Vaughan has been a Director at Brookfield Incorporacoes SA since 2012. He serves as a Director of Arteris S.A. Mr. Vaughan holds a Chartered Accountant designation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
