Ron Bloom — Vice Chairman and Managing Partner at Brookfield Asset Management

Mr. Ron A. Bloom serves as the Managing Partner and Vice Chairman of Private Equity of Brookfield Business Partners L.P. (also known as Brookfield Asset Management Inc.,). Mr. Bloom serves as Vice Chairman and Managing Partner of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. He focuses on managing of the firm's private equity investments. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Bloom served as Vice Chairman, U.S. Investment Banking, focused on restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Bloom served as an Assistant to the President for Manufacturing Policy where he provided leadership on policy development and strategic planning for the Administration's agenda to revitalize the manufacturing sector. Prior to White House, Mr. Bloom served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury where he helped lead the restructuring of General Motors and Chrysler LLC and led the Treasury's oversight of the companies thereafter, including GM's Initial Public Offering, the largest IPO in US history. He has been a Director of GrafTech International Ltd. since February 27, 2017. Mr. Bloom received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and graduated with distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
