Mr. J. Robert Woodward, also known as Rob has been the Senior Vice president of Quality and Engineering at Brooks Automation, Inc. since March 2016. Mr. Woodward served as Senior Vice President of Engineering & NPI from November 2009 to March 2016 and also served as Vice-President of Engineering at Brooks Automation, Inc. Mr. Woodward joined Brooks in 2009 as engineering leader of its product groups. Mr. Woodward is responsible for the technical management and leadership of its product portfolio. Mr. Woodward previously worked for United Technologies Carrier Corporation, where he was the engineering head for the compressor systems technology and components group. Prior to Carrier, he spent the bulk of his career at General Electric initially in their Lighting unit and later in Advanced Materials. Mr. Woodward has a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Chemistry from Furman University.
