Mr. Lindon G. Robertson has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Brooks Automation, Inc. since October 1, 2013. Mr. Robertson served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at GrafTech International Ltd. from July 18, 2011 to September 5, 2013. Mr. Robertson joined GrafTech from IBM Corporation where he has had a 27 year career focused on finance and international business. From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Robertson served as Senior Managing Director, Finance for IBM Japan. His responsibilities included finance, tax, treasury and accounting operations. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Vice President, Finance for IBM s Systems and Technology Group with responsibility for setting financial vision and strategy for the global business, including research and development, manufacturing, product management, sales and marketing. Previously, he was Vice President, Finance - Microelectronics Division from 2004 to 2005, Vice President, Finance - xSeries Division of Systems Group from 2001 to 2004 and Corporate Assistant Controller from 2000 to 2001. He began his career with IBM in 1984 and served in various financial roles until he became the Director of Finance, IBM Greater China Group in 1997, a position he held until 2000. Mr. Robertson received his Undergraduate Degree in accounting from the University of Texas and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.
