Mr. D'Silva served as Chief Executive Officer of Transgenomic, Inc. from 1997 to April 3, 2006 and its President until April 3, 2006. He co-founded Transgenomic, Inc. in 1988 and served its Director of Mergers and Acquisitions since January 22, 2007. From 1988 to 1997, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CETAC Technologies, Inc. He served at&T from 1980. He served at&T as Business Unit Manager and Engineering Manager for a network distribution products division. Mr. D'Silva served as Chairman and Director of Transgenomic Inc. until January 19, 2007. He served as Independent Director of Bruker Corporation from February 2000 to March 31, 2010. Mr. D'Silva holds a B.S. Degree and an M.Eng. Degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from Creighton University.
