Executive Bio
Mr. Urban Faeh has been the President of Bruker Optics, Inc. since January 31, 2010. Mr. Faeh serves as Managing Director of Bruker Optik Gmbh. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Biella-Neher Holding AG until December 2006. After more than 10 years of experience in the food (Nestle Research) and specialty chemical (Sika AG) industries, he joined Bruker in 1998 as Bruker Optics as Sales Manager in Switzerland. Since 2000, he served as Managing Director of Bruker Optics Switzerland and later he also assumed regional sales management responsibilities for Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and the UK. He serves as a Member of Management Board of Bruker Optik Gmbh. Mr. Faeh received Bachelor degree in Chemistry at the University of Applied Sciences Winterthur in 1987. In 1998, he received a Master of Business and Engineering (MBE) degree at the KS Kaderschule St.Gallen.
